There's going to be a lot of aftermath to the finale, I think. I've certainly got a few things to write up. I thought I'd start a thread for it all to go into. More to come!

(How shall we do this? Shall we deal with one mini-arc at a time. I.e. Samantha first)

Well, can we rewind a little? Because before Nowhere regains consciousness after the battle (i.e. on the journey back), Taffeta would have had a short conversation with Grimes.

(I’d suggest people have individual conversations or in twos and threes in messages then post result/write-up here? Then we can spin out any convos from that?)

Happy to do it here or in messages but before anyone starts having any chats with Nowhere in his bed at the Hung Rabbit I think it's worth establishing whether he's under house arrest there with armed and magically warded guards posted outside. Because Taffeta will have made it very clear to Grimes (and, if he didn't listen, to Captain Thundercog as soon as she got back to town) than she expects the Watch to do their job.

I also think there would be quite some conversation happening before Nowhere is taken back to Daring by Grimes(?), let alone before he wakes up.

Grimes will have told Taffeta that the way Nowhere is handled in terms of confinement/guarding etc is to be determined by the Council who give orders to the Watch. Technically (from grimes' point of view) Nowhere hasn't threatened or caused harm to a citizen of or property within Daring Heights therefore he can't/won't place Nowhere under arrest without a Warrant. Obviously Grimes will have set up some sort of watch / guard anyway to keep an eye on things.
I presume the Council will consider Grimes' report plus Rholor's report / account and agree action.
Not sure that the Watch is set up to have armed and magically warded guards anyway?

'He hasn't threatened or harmed anyone in Daring, is it?' says Taffeta. 'You have a funny sort of memory, Sergeant.'
She does talk to Grimes any more after that but she keeps Nowhere in sight throughout the journey. She has one or two things she'll do once the party gets back to town but let's see whether anyone else wants to do anything before we get there?

I think for sake of argument (and because I think a few messages have separately been sent around), you have brought Nowhere back to Daring Heights because frankly you won't hold him anywhere else.
However, before any of that, there's something else for you to consider as you all stand around with Nowhere's unconscious form. Loot. And Loot you all may find interesting.
-The Longtooth Staff - Granny's twisted staff grants +2 AC whilst held and can have up to three small items orbiting around its head. -1 Potion of invisibility -1 Potion of Superior Healing (8d4+8) -1 Potion of Speed -A horn which casts Animate Dead 1/day -Keladry had amongst her personal arsenal a wooden light crossbow +1, which has the Enplacement ability, meaning it can be placed in a position and given a command to attack on a certain trigger, similar to the Alarm spell.
-Amongst the many corpses around you quickly amass 7,000 gp worth of goods (583 each). Notably there are additionally three large rubies which orbited Granny's staff. Now that they are not spinning around, it is quite clear that they each have a small figure inside them.
Two are the dried, dead husks of hags. Some of you will recognise them as the other members of the Longtooth Coven, Granny's sisters. The third contains the emaciated but still living Viscount Willum Daffles, Mayor of Daring.
People inside them notwithstanding, those 3 gems are worth a further 1,000gp each.
You cannot communicate with the tiny man in the gem, nor can you see any immediate way to break it.

"Stop quarreling this instant. We have not only just survived a war... a big one even but we also won apparently: armies are mostly gone, Granny is dead, Nowhere is alive... that's a victory in my eyes. And there are bigger issues on our hands at the moment. Where the actual FUCK are we? Where do you all intend on going? Uh?" - Rholor turns to Dorian. Dorian , can you still take us home? Or do we need to rest?"

After quite some time continuing to rock back and forth in the foetal position, hugging Pim and crying, Elrich finally pulls himself together, gets up and plays a victory fanfare on his horn.
He approaches the rest of the group and asks ‘So somehow I’ve killed Granny, that was fun, what does this mean? Am I the King now or something?
He will also be trying to poke Knowhere with one of his drum sticks and wake him up on the way back (hopefully somebody stops him).

**After Grimes before Rholor**
Daisy rasises her eyebrow at Grimes. "Grimes, I hope you can deliver Nowhere to his room in Daring and trust you to report to Council as soon as possible."
She looks over to the rest and points at Nowhere.
"I know some of you care about this man. But he doesn't know right from wrong. He's become more powerful since I first met him. Power without moral boundary is very dangerous, it's unbalancing and damaging. This war was not necessary and who knows what would happen if we did not interfere. And what he did to Taffeta's family only proves that he is not in a good state of mind. He needs help. Otherwise exile. Forever from anywhere near Daring Heights. For what it's worth, this is what I will advise to the council as soon as I am back. and to my forest friends who care a great deal about lack of balance."
**After Rholor**
"Rholor, thank you for your help and I'm sure there's important business you need to attend to but we were trying to solve man's fate here. Although I too I would like to head back now. Indeed Dorian if you could get us all back, that would be great". Otherwise Giant Eagle flies away (carrying Taffeta).

Taffeta isn't searching for loot or doing anything except standing quietly and keeping an eye on the unconscious Nowhere. How long do people spend searching the battlefield - enough to count as a short rest for her (since she isn't doing anything)?
