Actually Andy, thinking about it a Halberd is much more Dwarven, still a 1d10 and slashing, that ok? if yes, 175GP is no problem.

"Fantastic - I knew I could rely on you." Leocanto throws him a quick wink, he seems to be handing those out for free these days.
"How much would it set me back for the scimitar (400gp), chain shirt and shield?"

**Lachlan saunters past the open smithy front strumming his lute and gently singing “there’s a green tide rising”** I'm gonna need to see a full lyrics conversion... My commission rates are very reasonable - just ask Erik Swift-Axe

Dvargar - 175gp for a halberd is still fine.
Leocanto - that'll come to 450gp total

I see a Green tide a-rising I see trouble on the way I see earthquakes and lightnin' I see bad times today Don't go out tonight Their bound to take your life There's a Green tide on the rise I hear war horns a-blowing I know the end is coming soon I fear blood rivers flowing I hear voices of rage and ruin Don't go out tonight Their bound to take your life The Orcish hord is on the rise I hope you got your gear packed up I hope you are quite prepared to die Look's like we're in for nasty punch up One eye is taken for an eye Oh don't go out tonight Their bound to take your life There's a green tide on the rise The Orcish hord is on the rise

Dvärgar grasps the Halberd and suddenly starts swinging and spinning it around with mastery, unknowingly missing the noses and necks of a few passers by, his eyes shine with the happiness and slight madness of a young child that just opened an early name day present... "aye, master smith, fine work as always" He deposits a bag of gold on the counter, without looking up from his new toy and walks out giggling like a little girl, or as girlishly as wide chested, bearded and scared 4 foot 10 dwarf can. "now what shall I name you my pretty...?" Lyca following behind, just out of range just in case he started twirling again.

"Lara," A man who has not been seen in the blacksmith for several weeks enters, his beard unkempt, and his shadow slighter, "I picked this up." The man lifts large fragment of bone onto the counter, "Giant skull. Think you could do something with this to turn it into a shield?" FYI andycd

Around 20 Marpenoth 1496 DR, Lasira Gemfinder calls in at Samed's with a large heavy sack of pieces of battered plate armour – enough, she reckons, to be made into a decent suit of half-plate. She shows the pieces to the duty smith and asks how long the job will take and how much it will cost, if she chooses to give Samed's the job. (She lets it be understood that she is also asking for estimates from other smiths in town.)

A burly Elven journeyman informs Lasira that she can make a suit of half plate from the pieces here for 150gp. It will take about two weeks. Payment would be half now and half on completion.

A couple of days later Lasira returns with the sack and says that the terms are acceptable. She pays 75 gp and gives whoever she's talking to a tip of five copper coins. She says she'll call back in on 7 Uktar*. * (Assuming 'two weeks' here means 14 days. If 'week' means a tenday, then she says she'll come back on 12 Uktar.)

Wow, and Milo thought he was being generous with 300gp! Bargain. Just another instance of small, independent businesses being priced out of the market. Does Samed even pay his taxes locally? I hear his company is registered in Port Ffirst where their CTR is 0%PA
