Faye: GREEBOOOOOO!!!!
I storm upstairs looking for my new little whiskered friend. Greebo snaps awake from his nap he seems grumpy for some reason... why wouldn’t he be excited to see me I look amazing today...
Boy have I had a week to tell you about! So first there was this gloriously moustached man who employed us and turned out to make an enemy of me, not a wise decision.
Flopping onto the bed Faye offers a fish to Greebo.
Faye: He wanted us to go on a boat, track down his missing crew and recover a chest telling us the journey would take around a week and we would be looked after on the ship. We made it to the ship and they expected us to do work! Can you believe... like common people... but there was a very muscular Minotaur (though he had tiny horns... how unfortunate...).
I was forced to cook with this goblin chef and drink fireball whiskey... not my usual classy martini.
Anyway long story short I saved a baby whale named Frederick/Fredericka, a monk took a killer whale tooth and walked into a plate portal and we eventually found the shipwreck.
Greebo: A plate portal?
Finally he engages...! he seems to be listening to me now.
After being overcharged and given a receipt for our expenses for some water breathing magicky stuff we swam down and killed some gross shark people. I mean... I didn’t kill them... I just talked them out of immediately eating us... but I got this cool bone trident!
Faye takes out the bone trident and twirls it around as Greebo watches and listens.
Faye: During the scuffle I found out that one of the people in our team worships Selune... thankfully she didn’t recognise my patron cause that could have become... contentious...
Anywho the chest was in the lair of a Dragon Turtle and apparently I guess they claimed it... but we managed to sneak it out and get on the ship but that giant turtle was so mad.
We broke into the chest on the way back and there was a massive gem. The LeNoirs didn’t seem to happy about it and what’s worse they wouldn’t reimburse us for our expenses! So I think maybe we should take what we’ve learned elsewhere... to the Countess.
Greebo: hmmm... a dragon turtle is no small thing. Your lucky to be alive! But if it's angry, it may come looking for that gem... those Lenoirs and their games.... yes, I think we should pay the Countess a visit. Expenses aside, this does strike me as an opportunity to... get in her good graces... grab my bag Faye, let's pay her a visit!
