A letter to Pieni,
Don't yell at me, but I will stay in Kul Guran for a couple of weeks atleast. I volunteered to join the war that erupted between the giants and them, but let me explain what exactly happened!
We got hired to go and investigate the hall that was being built by giants that me and a few others discovered a few weeks ago, so we went.
We travelled towards the mountains on their hill surfers, that I even got the opportunity to try out and turns out that I was pretty good at steering even with my one hand.
Be careful of bleeding in this country my friend, there's some sort of ancient blood magic that will suck you dry if your wound touches the ground, Heret has been told about this.
We reached the mountains and we split into three groups Myself, Faye, A minotaur rogue and Tinum a young Minotaur whom we encouraged to experience more went into the cave, while Milo, Bubbles & an Airtaur mage went to inspect a suspicious looking giant cart full of stones, and Heret with Sheryll & Kassandra another ranger to scout some smoke farther away.
We entered the cave and found out that they are planning to attack and eat the country people and they were planning to start straight away. Me and Faye decided to stay and try to disrupt this plans while the other two sneak away, but the young Tinum being terrified failed and collected some attention towards him. Seeing the possible death I blow my cover and incinerated one of the leader stone giants, if it wasn't for Faye I would died there. But we managed to stay alive. We escaped from the cave found the cart exploded for apparently told later turns out they were enchanted as explosives.
Later on it was decided me and Tinum to speed ahead with my steed to warn of the impending attack on the nearby fort.
Later that night the rest arrive and head on the last caravan towards Kul Guran. While I decided to stay and help keeping the fort up as long as possible.
War is a grim thing nothing to be seen as an opportunity to shine. I lost Tinum amidst the battle, couldn't find him later. I think he died somewhere there. So much potential! Lost.
The fort fell a few hours later many deaths on both sides. But there isn't much organization between giants, hope isn't lost! I will stay help and fight. Wish me luck my friend!
PS. I left Murf with Abdel Aziz please take care of him, he loves carrots !
