‘I’ll make you proud.’ Bliss whispered to herself as she returned to her room for the night. Her smile being replaced on her face by a more neutral expression that better reflected how she truly felt. It’s been 6 years since she’d been travelling and fighting on her own and she still couldn’t get used to her brother, Tranquil, not being there. She knew their line of work was dangerous, knew there was a chance one of them would be killed one day but for it to actually happen… Bliss shook her head, trying to shake the nostalgia out of her mind. He was dead. There was nothing that could be done about that now. She had to go on and live her life without him now.
A slash, followed by another in quick succession as she held her rapier in one hand and danced through fighting steps that had become so natural to her. The blade becoming an extension of her arm, moving with great precision through the air. A couple more slashes, being careful not to strike the walls or furniture of the rented room she was staying in. She got faster and faster, still avoiding all objects in the room with a superb sense of control on it, a smile sneaking its way onto her face. She’d have to be happy for him now. He’d chosen this life as much as she did and he wouldn’t want her walk through it carrying the baggage of his life on her back. She’d find her bliss in this world. One way or another.
She’d spent too long caring and worrying and mourning now, now was the time to live. The two had gathered up enough money that they could live like royalty. That was always the plan. With Tranquil sadly no longer able to see out his end of things, Bliss would have to live out this royal fantasy for the both of them. She was in Daring Heights now. Such a new land to her. She could be a ‘Lady’ there. No-one knew otherwise. She had enough knowledge of how royals worked from her time in their company. She’d spied and stolen from enough of them to learn their behaviour, if needed.
Another slash, increasingly quicker. Her footwork becoming more dance like with every strike. Her smile growing on her face and she gracefully glided from manoeuvre to manoeuvre. Though as quickly as it appeared, her smile turned to rage and the slashes became more violent, more out of control. Shadows quickly leapt out of her hand, engulfing the blade as she kept swinging. Kept slashing. Getting closer and closer to her furniture. An inch away from the chair. A centimetre away from the bed. With an infernal yell she plunged her shadowed blade into the floor. Sweat now pouring down her light pink skin. She had to control herself better. She couldn’t let rage become her. A few quick breathes as she regained her thoughts. This would be a new start for her. A new beginning. A new person. She would be Bliss. ‘Lady’ Bliss. A swashbuckler, capable with both a sword and the arcane arts. She’d be carefree, fun and happy. She could do that. She could do anything she wanted to. She just had to ignore her pain. Ignore the suffering. Ignore her past and focus on her future. She pulled her blade from the floorboards, muttering a silent mantra to herself. She loved Tranquil, but it was finally time to put his memory to rest. She’d ignore her nostalgia and focus solely on the present. After-all, ignorance is Bliss.

'Lady' Bliss is a 5'8 pink Tiefling. Class wise, a Swashbuckling Draconic sorcerer. With both her magic and her natural speed she's naturally never been one for armour, often wearing clothes on a more comfortable side of life. There's a pirate-esque theme to her wardrobe with the odd cape occasionally thrown into her attire depending on which side of her mood she wishes to present.
Her two most striking features physically are her tattoos and her tail. Her entire right arm is marked with a variety of different symbols and patterns which on a glance mean nothing but are, for her, her own way of keeping memento's of her past fights and victories. Her tail, unlike most Tieflings, is more akin to that of a Dragons. Her bloodline, whilst a mystery to her to a degree, has both paths Devil and parts Dragon in it, helping form her appearance. Bliss has been looking to go out and live more of a life of late (which has lead to some level of recklessness in her actions) though she generally is a team player and will try to aid her companions where possible (as long as she's confident she's in a relatively safe position). Of late, she's been frequenting taverns looking for either her next drink or her next mission. Anything to keep her busy. There's something about her attitude and presence that seems like she wants to keep moving forward, rather than looking behind.
