On his way down to Daring Heights for the first time, Gegrun heard some rumours that an ancient temple sequestered in the hills had been overrun by some villainous brigands, or a band of orcs, or something in between. He realised he needed help to perform his divine duties and rid the temple of this evil, partly because he needed someone to tell him where the temple is. So with an unpracticed hand and all the fine motor skill of a hill troll, Gegrun raised his huge glaive up to the board and scratched the word 'TEMPUL' into the wood. After a moment's pause, he added 'HELP' to the end, and then ' - GEGRun' to the end of that, running out of space rapidly on the splintered wood.

Augustine looks at the message and tho she doesn’t know exactly what’s going on she feels the need to help, both with the temple and with the spelling.

Menace would be interested to explore the temple and meet the fascinating fellow who managed to write with a glaive.
That is, if somehow word of this request travelled to Port Ffirst as well?

Gegrun has been asking everyone around with no tact and subtlety, it wouldn't be hard to imagine the rumour permeating to Port Ffirst. If it fits, he could have asked people to ferry the message there.
He hasn't been there in person.
