The Necrodancer - A storybook story by Leocanto Costoso
Oh come my friends, I'll tell you a tale, Of a morbid bard, and his life story. And how he loved himself oh so much, And all the power he did possess.
Now this did happen once upon a time When Kantas wasn't so complex How he worshipped the sounds he made And when the wizards spurned him he became obsessed.
This bard is known as the Necrodancer And he's in hell sure as tales that I tell He could cast spells like a Necromancer But he's in hell sure as tales that I tell He's in hell sure as tales that I tell.
His songs were strong and he had powers so dark Than bards should have within their keeping His spells could mimic all arcane arts Thought himself best and hardly cheating.
This bard is known as the Necrodancer And he's in hell sure as tales that I tell He could cast spells like a Necromancer But he's in hell sure as tales that I tell He's in hell sure as tales that I tell.
Now he said, "Don't you know my curse: I can't stop playing for the ghost in my chest?" I said, "Don't you know that my songs and my verse Always have a happy ending?" Then we beat him up just like in the books And with his treasure we rode away
This bard was known as the Necrodancer And he's in hell sure as tales that I tell He came back once, but we had his answer So he's back in hell sure as tales that I tell
