(Greatsword with extra 1d6 necrotic damage. This weapon counts as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances. Requires Attunement. Gives the attuned owner disadvantage on saving throws imposed by devils.)

Ghesh strolls past the poster then does a huge double-take and reads the full message. He asks around immediately to find Igrainne and eventually does.
“I, uh, saw your poster. You have a strange great sword to sell? Mind if I have a look? I don’t know how much you would be looking for, I don’t seem to carry as much gold on me as a lot of adventurers I have met around the place but I am always on the lookout for interesting weapons. I can manage up to 600gp, and if you are interested I have some other weird weapons I might be able to add into the trade.”
(Is the disadvantage on any saving throws caused by devils eg spells too, or just effects they have that cause saving throws?)

He drops everything that was on his back with a big clang and starts rummaging through.
“Well, I’ve got a battle axe that knocks over anyone smaller than you, and I just got back from the beach where I picked up this”. He holds up a giant metal crab claw in both hands and makes it open and close a couple of times.
“Pretty cool eh. What do you think?”
(Battle axe: on the first hit on a creature smaller than you they have to succeed on a DC 15 strength save or be knocked prone.
Crab claw: acts as a +1 greatclub and as an action you can use it to restrain someone, but then you must use your action to keep them restrained.)

She heaves the big, evil sword into Ghesh's arms and takes the money. "Pleasure doing business with you. Now, if you'll excuse me," she says in the smoothest, deepest voice she can manage, "I've got some detective work to do." (That's all Tarek told me. You need to attune to it, and it does extra 1d6 necrotic damage on top of the normal 2d6 greatsword damage, which is now magical damage. Whilst you're attuned to it, you have disadvantage on saving throws imposed by devils. If you have more questions, you should ask Tarek on the Discord.) |
