You know, it's been many a year since I put quill to parchment and made notes on my adventures. I really should have thought it through better. Perhaps during my future adventures, I will do a better job and actually document what is happening as it progresses, ensuring more accurate reporting. Regardless, my adventure through Kundar will provide good practise for future efforts, and serve as a reminder to keep notes. (Bad Arkadius.)
The day started with a summons for aid from a fellow called Rivaann. Certainly, in my memory, he is the very definition of a portly Dragonborn and I have seen none more befitting this description. Just as pompous as one would expect too. Nice wine selection, but the entertainment was… shall we say, to avoid arguments, not what I would have chosen?
We were tasked as a coterie to travel to Kundar by any means necessary and make contact with the Kundarian Dragonborn, and perform reconasance… reconisance… recon the city. Three of us teleported ahead, and the other three took a cart (myself included, my finances don't allow for the luxury of teleportation). On the cart, further entertainment disputes took place, and no further note on this shall be made. (I think we are on the route to making peace.)
On arrival to Kundar, our associates had made sterling work of reconning the city, however were hampered from making contact with Dragonborn due to language barriers (I was the only member of the coterie with intimate knowledge of the Draconic language, my Patron's lessons came in very handy). They did however make contact with and endear themselves to very useful contacts.
We stayed at a tavern called… Michelles? The spelling was indecipherable, but it was an utterly charming establishment. I must remember it next time I am in Kundar.
There, we made contact with Dragonborn, and there we learnt of a resistance brewing. Long story short, we arranged for contact with the resistance larger, however were ambushed by Kobolds riding an ogre. A fight ensued, and I missed part of this fight after foolishly making myself prime target by floating in the very eyeline of the angry ogre. (BAD ARKADIUS.)
We fought and won, and this is where Matthew, the Aasimar bard assisted me and I think we are making in-roads to repairing our… faulted relations. (Very, very bad Arkadius. Do better.) We also met with the resistance, and have contacts cemented in Kundar for future meetings.
Lessons have been learned: Avoid eyelines of angry creatures when flying.
