Rama has been mentioning to the guards and people he has been meeting in the Three Headed Etting and The Cavernous Sea Shank about how he and Pieni have scouted Many Large packs of gnolls and sightings of lycanthropes leading them in the mountain chain near Daring Heights and how they look like they been grouping up for something large. He is trying to collect a small but strong force to cut them down before they condense together.

The Order of the Crimson Fist have some Intelligence on a clan of gnolls living in the mountains to the west of Daring. If those are the mountains you’re referring to, Varis would probably be willing to share what information he has, provided he was satisfied that your motivations were aligned with his.
