[Limehouse Venue] Thief of 999 Souls (Adept, Lv3+, 18+24/04)

Looking for a dude with a crossbow, leather duster and a wide-brimmed hat. Anyone seen him? His name's Langston Farstep.
Story is: some fancy dude steps through a portal fashionably late to a shindig at the Flourished Hook (rude!). Some old lady follows him -- we thrash her, etcetera -- I have a snack of Hag Eye, so if you see a one-eyed witch, you'll know who it is! After she's teleported away like a yellow-feather, he asks us very handsome and reputable do-gooders (or was that just me?) to help him recover an artefact being used for evil: a Mote of 999 souls at the core of a giant evil tree in Witchhold, the domain of another old crone called Granny Longtooth.
A long story and a lot of swimming and shenanigans later, we wrestle the Mote from the device it was held in, and Mr. Farstep tricks us (betrayal!!) into running for our lives (the whole Hold was falling apart) by claiming his teleport-ring thing was busted (lies!!!). He then teleported away with the Mote, and last thing I saw was Kundar. Travelled there later and turns out he's an infamous bounty hunter or something. What a fiend! The things folks 'round here will do for money...
Would very much like to encounter him again to get that Mote back, and maybe the incredibly useful teleporty ring (only goes to the nearest large conflux of people in some kind of area, but still neat), and absolutely not because he was really cool. Oh, and arrest him or whatever.
