Levuka came too with a start to the sound of her heart pounding in her ears and for a moment she sat motionless as her trance and the vision faded with each passing breath. After a moment her eyes opened and she surveyed the unfamiliar surroundings of the room realising only after some time that she was in Kantas. As it slowly dawned I her that she had little or no hope of returning to her meditation she willed herself into action and began to move with silent grace from the bed, taking only a moment to pause by the window, to reach out her hand, flick the catch on the shutters and watch as they swung open to allow the moons pale light to enveloped the shadows. Having opened thick set heavy mullioned window, Levuka took a long deep breath and slowly began to feel a little more like herself, the moon always had this effect on her, making her feel calm, at ease and somehow more in control. The passing clouds began to slowly obscure the full moon as Levuka donned her heavily re patched mottled leather armour and for a while a least she allowed her mind to wander, as she tried to recall the vision, distant memories long past and the events that bought her here. As the clouds passed and the full moons light return it's power seemed to glow as it accentuated the deeply carved Sylvan inscriptions on the gnarled hardwood staff that she held in her hand.
The moon had now stretched Levuka’s shadow over the entire length of the room and as a tiny moth entered through the window, sometime in-between beat of its wings, Levuka's shadow transformed as she shifted from her elven form and morphed into that of a small black cat.
