Ginead mused.
When Ginead mused he usually stroked his beard and the wooden togs plaited into it.
He mused over many things. He mused over his failed training, and he mused over frogs in bathtubs.
If you, like many others are these days, happen to be in the Cavernous Seashank and you buy Ginead an ale (which he will consider a debt he is honour-bound to repay), then he will tell you his musings on the drow.
Ginead will tell you that he had always been told that dark elves were awful people to be met with suspicion and steel. He will recall one bizarre fact that he can remember from his time spent avoiding the library - approximately fifteen percent of drow people are not inherently evil.
You may say that's a bizarre statistic to remember, Ginead, being as you couldn't remember what a squires pre-battle duties are, what the most respectful answer to a formally issued challenge is, or even where you left your horse this morning.
Ginead would say "Verily!" and beam happily. He would then become conspiratorial (clanking in his verdant armour) and tell you that nontheless; he thinks he has met some of these fifteen percenter drow!
Better yet, they seem to want to help cure the plague and they may even be on their way to doing it. Ginead will tell you proudly that he helped them. A bit.
They call themselves the Sisterhood (a name Ginead, coming from a very fraternal background, pronounces with respect) and they may be able to help the people of Kantas.
Ginead would finish his ale and add that, alternatively, this could be a front, they could be plotting to destroy the above-landers with spiders and dragon eyes, in which case, he would be honor-bound to find them and put an end to them before they did so.
Either way, they are to be investigated!
"Well? What say you?"

I’ll be in the the tavern performing anyway so I may as well go on a little learning expedition about my sort of cousins 😊

This may be of interest to Heret, although he doesn't usually go to Port Ffirst. (In other words I might join this depending on whether there are any other games the same day that make more narrative sense for either of my characters to be involved in!)

Oh, wait, no, that doesn't make any sense at all because Daring will still be quarantined and Heret will be stuck in there. Hmm. Okay, so I guess either I'll bring Taffeta to this one or I'll see whether Heret can join in with Lassitude part 2. Or I'll have a week off! 😊
