The plague is gone. Dr Greenclaw's cure worked, and the population has slowly, over the last week, been nursed back to health.
(Or you failed and everyone's dead, but let's be optimistic here)
The toll on the city has been considerable. Daring came almost to a standstill for nearly two weeks, and only yesterday finally opened its gates again.
The air is clearing, and spring is gradually claiming the town with crisp, fresher air and soft sunlight.
There's nothing desperately urgent to do, so now is a quiet period where the adventurers of Daring Heights can get some of that all important life admin done.
Got a scene you really wanted to do - an interaction with another player or NPC? Perhaps there's that one task you wanted to get done or thread you wanted to follow up on but it didn't quite merit a full session? Now is your time! Let me know what you'd like to do and we'll have a session that will most likely be a set of shorter scenes or encounters to flesh out the characters and the world a little more.

Oriloki would be keen to investigate a couple of things:
i) is there anything to the fact that there seem to be lots of isolated racial groups/settlements in single locations? All unaware of the presence of others on the continent; and
ii) what the Duchess has been doing/involved in over the last few years.

Sounds good! Heret's 'to do' list so far includes: - examine the sample of vaguely restorative gravity-defying water from the myconid caverns in the Underdark;
- continue to work on his map of the area at ground level and subterranean level;
- return to the Galavir to discuss commerce (including the remains of the mithral and lapis lazuli monster, the pearls that come from the lake, and things they might want to buy) and to gather information about lesser-known parts of the continent;
- study the pages he tore from the trading post ledger in Stoneleaf to glean any useful information about trade there before the village was abandoned;
- research the history of Gladstone;
- investigate the commercial possibilities of the fountain of rest on the island off Port Ffirst;
- return to the Underdark for further exploration and to secure the darkwood town;
- return to the Stoneleaf quarry for further exploration.
I expect 7 and 8 are full-blown rumours. Of the rest, happy to pursue any of them in this session if they make sense to do that way, or by messages if more appropriate.
At time of writing, Taffeta is focused on the fact that Nerry and Idari and Rose are trapped in Daring and possibly sick with the Lassitude; hard to predict what she'll be wanting to do once that's resolved but perhaps Oriloki will want to do more stuff with portals? And possibly something to take the Idari plot further, though that depends on various things.

Looking good so far - just pushing this to see if any one else has things they'd particularly like to delve into next week?

For story/item stuff, Pieni still has a potion of Longevity to foist on someone, he already told Heret about the stream of rest, he's looking for different ways to polymorph, and he's still looking for clues about that guy who jumped through the portal. The one who stole the soul thing. I'm pretty sure you ran that session, right? Also, he wants to go around helping people and making friends, but that's already kind of covered in the regular missions. He just likes playing the little friendly hero.
Other than that, he'd like to continue his exploration and mapping of every corner of Kantas. He wants to see (and map) all there is to see, and sell to the poor folks of Kantas who aren't fortunate enough to have awesome powers but still need a way to avoid monsters and the like. He's not even necessarily interested in fighting great foes in the farthest of reaches or finding the rarest of items in the deepest of dungeons (though that's obviously appreciated) -- he just wants to explore, and he's happy to share all he learns.
He'd also like to find some way to permanently protect his village from outsiders. Hiding in treehouses and flying away from trouble worked great until recently; some Kantas folks just don't know to keep their grubby hands off others' land... But that's probably not gonna be solved in a session? I need to write the bird village lore.
Oh, and he'd like to meet the Firbolg Druid he went on the Turtle-Dragon mission with one time to find out, uh, what exactly happened with the dragon. Did it kill loads of people or what?
Bit of a ramble.

Oh and Heret also wants to get his Galavir pearl set into the pommel of his sabre in a way that protects it from damage while keeping it visible (e.g. some criss-crossing pieces of steel around it like a net). But unless he's aware of a particularly skilful person in Kantas who can do that, he'll get it done in Amn.

Milo had been working with the town's main blacksmith (Samed, if the thread in Town Improvements is the blacksmith I'm thinking of), but recently has been trying to get his own smithy off the ground, on the outskirts of town in the Dwarven quarter. Dwarvish weapons tend to be beautiful in their simplicity and geometry rather than due to any ornamentation, but Milo has been learning that humans in particular give more value to items that glitter and shine, so he's been practising on jewelled weapons and armour.
If you'd like to support a small but growing business, feel free to drop by the Hammerfall Smithy.

Heret is interested in quality above all, and his experience so far is that Daring Heights can't hold a candle to the refined arts of his home country, but perhaps he'll drop in at the Hammerfall and inspect some samples just to be sure.

New development: Pieni has acquired a Hydra egg after defeating a Hydra with some other adventurers. He wants to tame this Hydra when it hatches and use it to protect his village, so he's looking for experienced Druids/Wizards/Hagrids to help him with that.
He's also looking to go to Kundar and study cartography so he can actually be proficient in the Cartographer's Kit and become THE BEST CARTOGRAPHER IN ALL THE LAND.
He's also bought a giant spider companion from a Grung village northwest of Port Ffirst for 2000 gold, which he's left with his village in the North (who are mostly Druids and Rangers, so they aren't too concerned) until he figures out how to bring a giant spider around and about Kantas.
(The Spider's name is Nezznar)

Wow, those are some... interesting pets for a small bird-person to have.

Wow, those are some... interesting pets for a small bird-person to have. Pieni may get devoured by the Hydra if he can't tame it, but that's a risk he's willing to take. Druids be like that.
