Hello all, this is not a quest, just a place to update you all on the plague you may have heard about in Daring Heights and what this means for the next few games.
The Situation:
A plague has struck Daring Heights, of unknown origin. Doctors from Kundar, the Kobold city to the north-west, have identified it as The Lassitude, an illness which has been seen a few times in Kantas before.
At this time not much is known, except that those affected by the disease are overcome with weariness, their energy sapped away until they fall into a coma until dead. It's quick to incapacitate but slow to kill.
To prevent this disease from spreading and infecting the whole continent, Daring Heights has quarantined itself, sealing its gates and preventing all teleportation to and from the settlement. Nobody gets in or out.
What this means for games:
I don't plan on dragging this on for too long, but in the meantime, if you don't know if your character is in or out of Daring Heights currently, feel free to assume they are wherever you like (you can play a game that happens outside of Daring. You're in luck, you must have been out of town when the plague struck!). However, if you are definitely in Daring Heights, or enter into the town, you will not be allowed back out until this is over.
Don't worry too much, we'll try and make it work if you want to play in a particular game. But the plague is currently devastating the town, and most quests will at least reference it until it passes.
I'm not going to reveal much further information here, as dealing with this is a significant part of the games I'll be running for the next few weeks.
I hope this helps clear up what's happening a little bit. Be healthy.

The Lassitude: An Update
The plague on Daring Heights has been cured! Thanks to the efforts of Doctor Yura Greenclaw, in concert with the Temples of Waukeen and Selune, a cure was developed and distributed throughout the city.
The toll on the city has been considerable. Daring came almost to a standstill for nearly two weeks, and only just finally opened its gates again. By the time the cure was distributed, a significant portion of the town was comatose with the effects of the Lassitude, though mercifully the death toll was not quite as high. Still, 122 citizens of Daring had died by the time it ran its course. As their bodies had to be burned to prevent further spreading of the plague, a monument has been proposed to be erected in their honour.
As for the origins of the plague, it is not entirely clear. Various adventurers have encountered different elements seemingly connected. One thing is clear, however: someone in the Feywild had a stake in the Lassitude continuing. Priests, purporting to be of Helm from Faerun, who had been visiting the people of the town to offer comfort in these difficult times, turned out to be shape-shifting creatures from the Feywild who tried to steal the cure and did kidnap Dr Greenclaw.
Now the city is safe again, though what dangers threatened Daring in the first place are yet to be learned.

Update from Port Ffirst:
During the plague in Daring Heights, Port Ffirst had to endure influx of Daring Heights citizens locked out of their homes due to the quarantine in the city. Anyone who newly arrived to Kantas by ship was also forced to stay in Port Ffirst, even if their primary goal was to travel to Daring Heights. There was a shortage of accommodation and supplies, locals had to deal with raising tension resulting in small riots, pub brawls and other unpleasant situations. Thankfully, the plague ended before the situation got completely out of control. After the brave efforts of local and Kundarian doctors, export/import and traveling are restored in the area, life is back to normal but most citizens are still confused what the plague was all about.
