No, a wizard from Waterdeep is unlikely to have heard of a wizard of Kundar at this point.

Sorry for slow response; I'll come. Need to find a reason for Taffeta to want to go, as she isn't exactly in the mood for hired adventuring work at the moment, but maybe she happens to be going in that direction anyway or something. We can think of something, I'm sure.
(I'm hoping the vampire thing will give me an opportunity to get her back into a more adventuring frame of mind one way or another - if she survives it!)
