The Fall of Stoneleaf

Word had reached Daring Heights of the recent events at Stoneleaf, the flourishing mining town to the north-west. No longer flourishing...
A group of settlers, many now returned to Daring for lack of anywhere else to go, tell of their caravan reaching Stoneleaf only to be met by a man raving about townspeople becoming increasingly violent, killing and, in many cases, eating the bodies of those they murdered. A group of adventurers who had been escorting the caravan had entered the town and confirmed this to be the terrible truth - the whole town turned into the walking dead, rotting where they stand and attacking any who caught their attention. They were able only to see that the dead were clustered in the market square, next to the quarry which was the town's main source of income, before they had to flee what was left of the town. What had caused this curse to fall on Stoneleaf, no one yet knows.
A mystery waiting to be solved for any brave enough to venture into that dead town.
