âYou know I couldâve takenâem Jyles!â the small figure declares, straightening the crimson hood covering their head before making their way around to the front of the cart.
âThen there was the lot that helped ya ecourt goodâold Friar Plume here last year,â Jyles says following her around the cart to check the reigns on the large draught horse secured at the front it.âWeâd of been buggered if that blinking weed monster adâhad its way withâim! With Plume staying here these last two summers weâve had our best harvest yet! Weâve got regular orders for our veggies from da Council and that Daring'barracks! My old Penny wouldâve been so proud. Sheâd always want to throw a big party like this!â He sniffs, wiping a happy tear away.
The small figure sighs and smiles âWell I suppose they ain't all so bad for a bunch of cobble-walkers.â She says adds, leaping up onto the drivers bench of the wagon and taking the reigns.

A couple days prior to the end of Leaffall a notice is wonkily applied to the town notice board by a couple fired arrows, appearing as if its âposterâ struggled to find their mark at times.
In bold green lettering it reads:
