A tidy simple envelope with the words, ‘To whom it may concern’, written in blue ink is passed under the door of your living quarters. The note on the folded parchment inside reads:
‘Adventurer, it is our belief that a large creature has made its lair in close proximity to Daring Heights. We do wish to alarm the wider public with this intel, hence why we are contacting you in this manner. We feel that your skills would be most suitable in assisting in our dealing with this threat to the city. If you can assist we move out from hunched oak tree due north of Castle Gate at dusk the day after the'morrow.
