Rae has done it. Where Kyra Stuurm herself had failed, Rae has persevered and conquered the deeper mysteries of magic. They managed to tap directly into the Weave and let the raw magic flow freely through them. They commune with It, in a language of math and magic shared only between them and It. And It has so much to tell them...
Some fools say that the Weave was created by the goddess Mystra, but Rae knows this is ludicrous, the explanation of simple minds for something they cannot grasp. If anything, the Weave is older than the gods. Maybe once It was a god itself, then left to slumber and whither, dreaming the lesser gods and planes of today into existence?
It does not matter. All that matters is that Rae has found the way to ultimate power. The tool to right every wrong. The solution to every problem.
With the right ritual invocation, they know they can dominate the Weave and take direct control; Maybe split it at a place of their choosing to release cataclysmic levels of raw magical energy and remake the world as they see fit!
All they need is time to prepare.
Nothing can stop them now.
Nothing else matters.
The Weave now suffuses their every waking and dreaming moment. They see the world differently now, in neatly flowing rows of red letters, runes, and formulae, a maelstrom of knowledge written on the pages of existence itself.
All is magic.
All is one.
And soon, Rae will be too.
