The distant echo of water lapping on the sandy shores of a long forgotten lake in a realm of magic and dreams preoccupies Wik’s every thought. Like a siren song, they find themselves pouring over the journals they retrieved from their last visit to the lake, hoping their words will change, that an answer will present itself.
But nothing changes. No answers reveal themselves.
There is much the Cantors do not say, seemingly content to let the story play out a page at a time.
But Wik is not so patient. There are secrets that need to be revealed. They call to Wik, like the siren’s song of the lake.
It is time, Wik thinks, to recover the heart of the Aspect of Corellon.
