Introduction:
So I'm Jett, a student who has only recently gotten himself engrossed in the wonderful and fantastical world of D&D. I've only played about 5 sessions so far but I'm enjoying it immensely. I'm always looking for new adventures, possibly campaigns, and maybe even a bit down the line going into DM'ing myself. Enough about me though.
Kantas Expanse Character
Magnus Ursa
A hulking lump of muscle, Magnus is a human barbarian from the Ursa tribe of the northern mountains. He is tall, strong, and fair haired young man of 19 who journeys about the land to gain strength, power, and love... wait what?
Thats right, love. I'll get back to that in a bit.
He is a young man of the Ursa tribe, a tribe who believe themselves to have descended from the great mountain bears of the north. The conditions of the northern mountains are tough. The climate, the animals, even the vegetation itself often seems as though it will try to kill you. Magnus is a strong young man, the son of a legend among the Ursa. His father Valdemar is a great hulk of a man, and a leader among the Ursa people. When Magnus was born he was said to be one of the largest babes the tribe had seen since ages past, and his father proudly named him Magnus (Mighty, Big) in honour of that accomplishment. He grew up tough and quickly, as you must in the mountains. Eventually his rite of passage into manhood came around. For the Ursa, they are to journey the wilds alone and come back with the hide of a great bear. Magnus accomplished this task in great style, slaying a gargantuan brown bear for his trophy, though not coming out of it without a scrape himself in the shape of five large, jagged cuts from his right shoulder to his left hip left by a large bear claw. He returned from the rite, wearing his pelt and was then tasked with a mission.
The Ursa people are a strong people, but are few. As such it has been made the duty of every young member of the tribe to go out and bring back a strong mate, suitable for bearing the future of the Ursa people. This mission is especially key for Magnus as his progeny are to be the leaders of the Ursa after his father, and himself.
Definitely more of a fun-lover than most duty-filled tribals, Magnus enjoys making friends, drinking ale, killing bad things, helping good things, drinking wine, exploring new lands, drinking ale, lifting heavy things, hitting things, drinking wine and ale, and drinking ale. He also hopes to reunite his tribe with the way of the bear and to form their bonds with their roots once more.
So there you have it.
"HAHAHAHA! I look forward to adventuring with you, friends!"
My character info if you really want it.
