A bit shaken by his last adventure (DM: Willem) with his fellow adventurers Kem, Mendal and Pyrin, there was only one way Finnegan could release the pressure that had built in him and help: by writing a song. He started as usual, by a few chords on his luth. Nothing fancy, just facts. Dark maybe, but facts. And some may understand and come to help us, who knows. Yes, like a bottle in the sea...
"In shadows deep where moonlight fades, Four seeds lie dormant, vampiric shades. Skaragoss they're called, their hunger dire, Whispering secrets, stoking dark desire.
First in a graveyard, 'neath ancient stone, Released by adventurers, bold and alone. They sought treasure, fame, and gold, Unaware of the tale yet untold.
The second by smiths, in bustling market fair, Guarded by a ghost lost in despair. Crying softly, mourning its fate, Preventing the release of skaragoss's hate.
Third by a road, where merchants tread, Slain by a swornsword, a noble's dread. Powerful family, a dynasty's might, Felling the seed in the dead of night.
Fourth near an academy, where knowledge thrives, Released by a cult with devilish drives. Conspiracy woven, darkness entwined, Unleashing chaos, the world maligned.
But behind the scenes, a sinister plot, The adventurers' journey, a twist they forgot. Pawns in a game, played by unseen hand, In a realm where darkness reigns over the land.
So heed this warning, all who dare roam, In realms where secrets lie, and shadows roam. For even heroes, with hearts so pure, Can be entangled in evils obscure."
It will do. It has to. Deep inside him Finn knew it was only the beginning. They will be back, they were too powerful to just rest. He was scared of it but a part of him was also excited and was longing for it. Somehow, the darkness was calling him, he was just unaware of it ... yet.
