Set out today with my skills, all the magic I’ve learned and a few useful items.

Got a ride in a cart, hopefully I will find a new place to trade soon.

How have I gotten here? I’m in a city, and do not know how I arrived.

Asked to find goblins that were attacking merchants. Received a lot of coin and split whiskeys with unique effects. Safire insisted on giving me her share of the money! I must find a way to repay her.

• Moving targets are hard to hit
• Try talking to adversaries before attacking
• Barghests are fiends that can shapechange and appear as goblins
• Stay with the group and watch the rear
• Find a way to increase defenses? Had a very close call

• Can’t find some herbs here, bought enough to make a healing potion
• Bought set of carpenter’s tools, need to try to trade my skills for lodging

• Found BOOKS!! It’s a grand place!
  
• Started fixing ladders for Kora. Focus!!

Toured much of the west side of Daring Heights with Safire and others who have been here much longer. Waukeen priests are greedy and have no right to represent a deity of trade. Kerros gave me his “ghost stone” that can cast light!

• Avoid the fey and feywild, don’t make promises to them
• Don’t make contracts with devils
  
• Books can be cursed, don’t touch them (how can you tell?)
  
• Portals connect planes and places
• Can I trade my time or skills for someone to teach me how to make proper maps?

Avakeel read my mind and found that I came here through a portal, a merchant named Weasel smuggled me, thinking I was cargo. Has anyone else been smuggled? Must investigate further.

Investigated a disappearance for the Watch. Discovered two missing persons and found the person responsible, but let them go free in exchange for information

• Spells enhancing skills are very beneficial
• Flight is amazing! It’s like looking down at a map!
• Telepathy is useful when trying to communicate discreetly

Why did the Hekrati specifically want Annie Bach? Is it a demon cult?

Finally figured out how to cast Invisibility correctly. Requires concentration - practice while reading a book?

Finished fixing Kora’s ladders. Need to find a new place to work next week, unless I can find a way to start learning new skills.
