This is a place-holder for a collab. write-up that Daisy and I are hopefully going to do soon, which will narrate what happened in 'The shining pond' (the three-session adventure that ran 2 to 16 October at at Holborn) and 'Hope in the trees' (the one-shot of 10 October at Greenwich). The purpose of the place-holder is just to get the basic facts down so that people know them in preparation for future happenings.
The basic facts are:

The basic facts are:
- Barracuda McFist, Grimes, the Chronicler, Zeenah, Lady Sunday, Crow Rustle, and Taffeta took up the task of investigating a sighting of elves in the western mountains.
- They found a community of elves (they or their town were called Gallavir (sp?)) which had been there for thousands of years.
- The elves had a magic lake that sustained them and gave them water-themed powers, and they believed their souls went into the lake when they died.
- They asked for help investigating a cave near by that they suddenly couldn't go into any more.
- The cave turned out to be housing a night-hag called Mistress Underbed who works with / for Granny and was there to investigate the elves and their lake in case Granny could make use of them / it.
- She'd discovered that a marid was diverting the elves' souls from reaching Arvandor and trapping them for his own amusement.
- Having discovered this, she was leaving, because Granny wasn't interested in going up against a very powerful marid at this stage of her plans.
- Some of Our Heroes made some deals with Mistress Underbed because that's how hags roll.
- Our Heroes then thwarted the marid's scheme and earned the gratitude of the elves, who also agreed to establish diplomatic and trading relations with Daring Heights.
- Taffeta went from the mountains to Port Ffirst, having heard a rumour that Nowhere (who she was looking for) had been seen there.
- By coincidence, Daisy was also in Port Ffirst on her way north to have diplomatic talks on behalf of the Daring Heights council with the king of the bear folk.
- The two of them met in a tavern along with some Port Ffirst adventurers named Paw, Erevan (sp?), Ghesh, and Crumblesnout.
- Daisy asked the others to help her check on one of the guardians of the north-west forest, who had gone off the radar.
- They did so, and ended up rescuing the guardian from some bullywugs.
