Safire heard the rumours, down in Port Ffirst. She chuckled quietly when more upstanding members of society reacted with shock and anger about the missing Waveskimmer. Not the largest boat in the docks but if someone can just steal away a ship in the night, who and what else is unsafe? Perhaps the theives of Port Ffirst will silently curse Ismail and his crew, if security tightens as a result of their actions. But Safire cares little for this, all she hears is the promise of revenge, the first step towards finding whoever scuttled her ship and took her crew to the fathomless depths. As she collects a team to investigate the rumours on the east coast of Joran such a promise brings a smile to her face, despite Ismail's warning: 'Their Flag Means Death'.
