OBSERVATIONS & EXCERPTS from the JOURNAL of SECOND ASSISTANT ARCHIVIST ORIANNA ÈIRIGH of ASHKHA
Writing this now I feel… ill.
We were too trusting. We did not understand what we were doing. Taken as such foolish things as mortals be and now all I am left with is a growing anger.
I do not wish to feel like this…
At the time I remember thinking it strange that Calla was sending her familiar, Mal, back to my home. I have no doubt that it was a form of contingency, for she had mentioned retrieving a letter she had left. Now, with how things are all these weeks later, I wish I could have it just to have something of hers close to hand…
Upon being greeted by the Sovereign of the Court of Sorcery, my sister was asking how many predecessors they had which I found an interesting line of inquiry, if a bit off topic from what we came to do. Does Calla have an interest in seeking a position of prestige in a place she has said countless times she dislikes?

Laurel, a seasoned healer and the creator of the Healing Pool in Daring Heights, lent their considerable medicinal background combined with their druidic knowledge. Vox seemed less sure at points of how their skills could be used but they found their ‘groove’ as it were in lending extra support to Calla, who was the funnel all of this was going towards. The Baron, taking inspiration from the line of questioning Kesserax had asked Calla earlier, started with a ‘Try not to decimate the plane’ and ended up fading into the background. It is no surprise, really. Many who come across the Archwyrms and Primordial Incarnates are unsure of how they can help them but I know the effort was appreciated regardless. And I?
I carved the history of Arcravine’s fall into his new body so he would not forget…

After Arcravine had rewarded Calla for the work she had done and he had departed for the Plane of Earth, Kesserax offered to remove the spell from Calla’s knowledge for such a spell existing out in the open could be dangerous.
And that was how we found out that she is the Herald of Kesserax…
