As Aurelia Archselon - archmage and one of the members of the Dawnlands Council sits in her garden, reading through correspondence and drinking a mild tea, a sound causes her to pause. Gripping a large crystalline rod which hangs from her side, she spins quickly to see a tree in her garden glowing.
Moments later, a piece of bark erupts from the tree and lands at her feet, as the tree itself returns to its dormant state. Looking carefully down at the bark, and reading the writing messily written on the back of it, Aurelia sighs and puts it in her pile of correspondence. "There are easier ways to get in touch..."
Shortly thereafter, a notice is distributed to the adventuring community: "Please gather a party and travel south to the Feythorn Forest. Some of the local Firbolg there are in need of some assistance. They were not forthcoming on the details. Regards - Aurelia."
