"Peers and Colleagues,
I'm soon to attempt an experimental ritual: diverting power from one long-standing function to another. Compared to previous endeavours this should be negligibly perilous. In fact, I anticipate that any persistent damage should be limited to my own mind alone. I nevertheless require outside agency for both documentation and, ethically, damage limitation and emergency recovery should it be required. Arcane experience preferred, but not essential.
