Wil, now a criminal in the eyes of the Winter Court, is getting desperate. Having received a message addressed to him from the late Longstrider to destroy these thralls, and compelled by his patron to free them, Wil is stuck, without the power or the resources to stage such a jailbreak. He only has one place left to turn. Meera of the Black Flood, the closest thing he has left to family, if he can even call her that would also see the thralls freed, at least for her own ends. It's an imperfect solution, an uneasy alliance that would break down as soon as their objective is met, but Wil has nothing left, and with Morinn otherwise preoccupied with the return of the Lord of the Hunt, this may be one of the few opportunities to stage such an operation. Begrudgingly, he casts Sending to her.
For the briefest of moments our goals align. Meet in the Court of Winter. Peace until they are freed. Betrayal will mean your end.
