A season has come and soon it will go, taking Winter’s chill with it.
Trees are sprouting, flowers are blooming—
and word on the street is certain Courts are going to participate in an unusual celebration: Fey Day.
Rumours are whispered of who will be there, who would even dare to go for such an event.
Others argue how could one not?
Everybody who is anybody will be there, and if you do not come, are you even someone worth knowing?
The buzz continues to grow, day by day, until one afternoon as Wik walks past the nearly empty stalls of the Dawn Market, golden scaled mask of Cechec firming in place, pieces of parchment fall in pendulum circles through the air. Other Darites stop what they’re doing and gaze in confused wonder at what is happening. Looking up reveals nothing — but a giggling sound and movement through the wind causes some to look nervously at their neighbours.
Wik picks up a flyer by their clawed foot, turns it over, and reads:
