The dusty streets of Kundar are thrumming with the daily movement of its denizens. From an alley adjacent to the small and out-of-the-way Muluk College an aged kobold cautiously steps out into the street. A large tome held close to his chest as he covers himself in a cloak and heads towards the southern gate in search of a caravan. Some days later a caravan arrives in Daring Heights, including a secretive Kobold who steals away from the caravan and heads directly for the Three-headed Ettin. He procures a room and locks himself away for a few days, talking to no one else. Finally he emerges from his room and walks into the main room, climbs up onto a vacant table and announces:
"I am looking for assistance in a very special venture, unlike any I'm certain you, any of you, will have experienced before." He clears his throat. "My name is Dokdah, a scholar of Kundar, and I have a true treasure that requires younger bones than mine. I have a very special tome with me, a unique book that cannot be read, only lived. I have spent quite some time translating this tome, though my eyes grow dim while there is still much work to be done." Dokdah looks around the tavern, looking for interested faces before continuing...
[This is a series of one-shots centered around Dokdah and his esoteric tome, as such there are no set weeks for this and the players do not have to be the same each time (though they are somewhat connected) and I'll run this game on Tuesday 25th September.]

Sitting on a stool by the bar counter, Demik snaps his head back.
"A book in need of translation?! You've got my attention Mr. Dokdah."

Demik is actually finishing up Andy's campaign on Tuesday. If he makes it out alive, he'll eventually join one of the one-shots.

[Please note, this first session will be for new and low-level characters] Demik immediately collapses due to lack of sleep. He wakes up next morning drooling on the bar counter, not remembering much about the previous evening.
