Once those who decided to stay behind at the Harbour have settled down and done what they needed to do, Velek quietly makes his way to find Crow’s dormitory room door. Easily enough done with his “name” neatly written on the front.
Velek raises a hand and knocks, then patiently waits. The door cracks open only the slightest, revealing a single dark eye peering through the sliver of space. From what can be seen of Velek through the sliver, he seems nervous and quite frankly exhausted as he stands there.
"Crow? Can we like talk a bit? Preferably not through the crack in your door."
The door doesn’t budge. The eye stares at Velek questioningly.
"About today. You kept looking at me like you've figured something out, I just..." Velek rakes a hand through his mess of hair, thinking for a moment. "I just want to know your intentions."
A moment of stillness passes, before the familiar voice speaks up from behind the door. “I dunno what sort of mummery it is you’re keepin’ up. It’s nun o’ me business an’ I want no part in it.”
Velek raises an eyebrow, "Mummery? Ha that's certainly new."
He gets closer, leaning against the doorframe where the door is cracked open, arms crossed. "If it ain't none of your business then why do you keep looking? I don't mind per se, I just know that sometimes people have negative reactions. And you're someone I'd rather have on my good side than looking over my shoulder for."
"I'm dun lookin' now that I've got me answers. I'm not on your bad side or your good side. Dunno how many sides you've got, anyway."
"Just enough to keep things interesting... Well I'm glad my existence has sated your curiosity, I'll leave you alone with your answers and neutrality." Velek stands back up and does a mock bow. "But I am sorry the mirror showed something so startling to you. I am grateful for your help today, even if the outcomes were unexpected."
"'S a strange place," the voice replies in a tone flatter than usual. Then the door shuts with a quiet click.
