Excerpt from Yin's journal after the Shadowfell adventure:
Well, the Shadowfell as per usual was the definition of beige but it certainly had it's moments with our work in helping those two lovebirds find each other again. I now have some song inspirations afterwards as well. I think it went well though, I held up my promise to Merla and met another adventuring member of the court so all in all what a better than beige day.
Note to self: watch Mendal's cuffs
Let Love Bloom by Yinmaris
Where both fungi and flora blossom
In a land where people survive yet rarely thrive
And light is seldom seen,
Those sworn to sorrowful maw choose devour the lost and forlorn
But when colours break through shadow and light shine too
Don't look towards doom
Let love bloom
Letter to Queen Queen Merla, the Sun-Blessed :
Yinmaris lets the ink dry before he has to go post the letter in the usual Feylight Gardens Theatre spot. He sips on his herbal tea and looks outside at the winter snow and smiles as he looks to his right. A thin glass vase partially filled with water rests towards the windowsill on his desk, clearly positioned to be seen but to also allow the two flowers within to live a bit longer. Yinmaris wanted the flower's beauty to live on for as long as possible. It was the first time a knight had given him gifts and he was sure to treasure them dearly.

Letter to Queen Queen Merla, the Sun-Blessed :
Your Majesty,
I hope this letter finds you in good tidings. I was a part of an adventuring group to the Feywild with a fellow member of the Court of Harmony, Chartreuse Lechance. Chartreuse is fun and certainly very skilled in the art of duelling. We were part of a group tasked with assisting with helping bring two people in love back together in the Shadowfell. We assisted a noble called Antimony Apropos, apparently her beloved Harven had been missing for 4 days. Due to classic planar time differences the job notice was around in the Material Plane for much longer than that but no matter. It was clear to both Chartreuse and I that the two were very young, seemingly in their early 100s and this was their first love.
We went to Harvens home, after finding it empty we worked on finding where Harven had dissappeared to. After finding some revelations such as Harven was a poet that was rather lacking in talent, though I commend his effort as the Shadowfell must be a place where such inspiration is hard to find but love had clearly filled that space of inspiration for him, as it does for many. We found that he had gotten terrified at being in love and tried to find somewhere to be alone, specifically there was mention of a cave system nearby. Now with a direction we left to find this cave and help Harven wake up from his forlorn headspace, after quite an oddly arduous journey which seemed like the antithesis of the Feywilds we came upon a cave but between the cave and Harven were two sorrowful cruel creatures with harpoon-like arms.
Chartreuse naturally challenged them to a two versus five duel, they accepted and brought my friend Thurghor within their grasp with a cruel harpoon appendage. After that a fight occurred with all of us fighting valiantly as these Sorrowsworn were quite the adversaries. Even Mendal decided to help at one or two points, the situation was that dire. After we dispatched these cruel creatures we were able to help Harven. I, with vital assistance from Chartreuse, was able to get through to Harven who was deep into a lonely and dark mindspace where he felt being even away from his beloved terrified him but he wished to feel that more as the elves here seem to meditate on their emotions but in doing so forcing them to stagnate on them. I told him that sometimes when in love the occasional absence of one's love does not lessen a love but shows how bright that love can shine. Harven actually wept which was posssibly the most emotion I have ever seen there in the Shadowfell. Thus my companions and I brought light back to a land shrouded in shadow and darkness. All in all it was very successful.
As they were reunited it was clear that the relationship of Antimony and Harven will go from strength to strength. It is in those moments that I understand why you asked me to make that promise all those years ago, to help people find the light and to bring balance and see the difference it has made in not only my life but in those I assist.
May your days be filled with song and joy, and may your evenings be filled with mirth and merriment.
Yours in service,
Yinmaris Iathrana
P.S. I have given Chartreuse the rundown on what it is like in the Material Plane as well as given him some of my writings that can hopefully help, the journey to the Shadowfell seemed to have helped make it a more manageable transition.
