Ahem ..gather round dear friends for I have a story to tell of 5 brave adventurers and trip to hell.
At the head a Ranger names Tarin of the elven kind whose aim is as true as his word.
Beside him a Dwarf Adrick that can handle a sword but one day curiosity might get him in trouble.
Then 2 clerics one a Dwarf .. Grunny and one half Orc named Arrakis, she has strange ways and him few words to say. But with my life I trust both of them.
Then there's me Morrigan De Lacy a mere child really.
But I have several tricks up my sleeve and a glint in my eye.
Now without further ado may I present .......
The ballad of the Sargent. (A work in progress)
The Captain of the guard was grim
His Sargent was gone ...missing
We were tasked go north
And file a report
A try to bring back his family ring.
A first we came upon a wagon
At least there no sign of a dragon!
The scene was benign Until we discovered the shrine Of a brave little Fluffy , god bless him.
Next upon the plains a tree
A 100 ft high at least it could be !
Its fruit glowed a bright blue
But they tasted a bit eww
I'd be curious to return again and see.
Suddenly!! an ambush upon us
Some terrifying Gnolls... leaking pus
I bravely strode forward
For I am no coward
And together we dispatched them with no fuss.
Soon we approached our quarry
In the distance we saw a sight that was sorry.
2 bodies been torn apart
By creatures, not natural to these parts.
I decided to get closer, it was pretty knarly !
Some how, we were spotted !!
The muscles in my stomach became knotted.
I stood upon the ground
Stared my enemy down
Then cried 'Bugger this!' and bolted !
Now my Friends are a little more stout hearted.
The enemies attacks they thwarted
With sword and Axe
They slew to the max
Until the Half Ork stumbled and faltered.
Grunny and I rushed to their aid
Her spells gave a magnificent display
I supported the fighter
As he smashed the last spider
With the help of the elfs arrows from far away.
With battle done. We examined the scene.
Oh the carnage and blood was obscene.
Of the Sargent we retrieved his ring
His Father, some solace it will bring
Time to rest and reflect on what a day it has been.
As we made our way back
We came under attack
From a terrifying warband of gnolls,
What fuggly creatures to beholed !
We bravely retreated
With the Gem stones we secreted
Back along the track ....LETS GO HOME!!
And so here I tell you my story
Of blood, danger and glory
Stick around my dear friends
For we'll do this again
Next time I promise it will be more gory !!
