Henri wakes in his room in the Four Fair Winds after a particularly peculiar set of dreams, most about him living a variety of lives, some similar to where he is now but others vastly different. The memory of this dreams fades quickly as he begins to get out of bed and start his day when he notices a new addition to his room, a gemstone bonsai tree, in an obsidian base with an emerald trunk and ruby leaves, sits on the windowsill gently casting the room in a kaleidoscope of colours. Resting on the trunk is a small note addressed to Henri, written in familiar handwriting and the same liquid ruby looking ink.
Dearest Henri,
It is time for the collection of my piece of nine, meet me outside of the city by Castle Gate and bring along your friends you will need their help for we must travel to the Plane of Time and this will not be an easy journey.
