Yinmaris sits down outside the Three-Headed Dragon, he feels the sun that gently warms his face and takes in the hustle and bustle of the Portal Plaza. He'd just said his farewells to Javik, the eponymous Woodsman of the Court of Sorcery, a few minutes ago not only was the night spectacular but Javik stayed the night in the Giant suite room at the inn and they'd spent the morning together which was a pleasant first for Yin; What started as some simple fun turned into something different for the eladrin, something potentially very risky when part of a Court. Yin's cheeks blushed as he sipped his fresh cup of coffee, sighing in contentment after the gulp, this time as an adventuring song-bearer had changed him and meeting someone who was drawn to his passion and boldness unlike his family who wished his fire quelled in service or mocked it.
Henri also intrigued him, the way he held himself while in diverse situations and kept his composure was both very beautiful to Yin yet the stoicism was very much a polar opposite to him. Maybe he'd visit him at the Mirror, it was pleasant meeting other folks of noble birth who actually worked for a change compared to the snorefests he was made to meet at father's soirées, whose most exciting moment in their life was when they met a harengon one time. Yin shivered at the memory at that horrendously boring lord whatever-his-name-is, he gave Dame Demeh Demgue a run for her money. His mind drifted back to more pleasant memories especially from the night before, showing Javik the sights of Daring Heights including the Golden Mirror, the Feylight Gardens Theatre, Foire Populare, and culminating at the Three-Headed Dragon "By the Courts, that man knows how to celebrate a good hunt" he muttered to himself in Sylvan, smiling at the compliments Javik gave him about how he fought. After finishing his coffee he pays for the coffee as well as a tip for good service, then heads home to actually rest and send an important report to Queen Merla despite his biting hangover.

Letter from Yinmaris to Queen Queen Merla, the Sun-Blessed :
Your Majesty,
I hope this letter reaches you well, I thought I would get this letter sent as soon as possible as considering the subject I felt it would be of grave importance to you. Firstly, I am well and so are my fellow adventurers. We were asked to assist The Court of Sorcery, which I did not know much of at the time, regarding a creature that had taken up residence in their Mystic Woods. The team comprised of Henri Fitzroy, Mittens, Thurghor and a new adventurer, a great warrior Grung called Shway'Shway who may not speak Common but he understands the way of battle. We met at the Three-Headed Dragon then headed to Portal Plaza and departed from the Mortal Realm to the Wilds, naturally as seems to happen every time I go back to the Wilds with them the other adventurers decided to look at the shiny woodlands in the Court of Sorcery. They were all charmed, as you'd expect. Luckily our employer, an owl-masked robed figure called Noctua, arrived to snap the others out of their entrancement alongside Noctua was a towering, bearded tattooed individual who called himself The Woodsman he later gave his name, Javik (pronounced Yavik). Apparently, a creature had been indiscriminately killing fey of all courts who ventured to the Court as it is a neutral ground where people can learn or gain magic (as I'm sure you know already).
Another thing of note is that Fitzroy mentioned a name, the Lady of the Well to Noctu, who promptly told Fitzroy to never speak that name again. I found it odd so thought I would bring it to your attention.
This creature reduced people to ash and bone so it was impossible in the normal ways to identify the victims and therefore be able to tell the victims' origins. Noctua left us to work with Javik, going into the woods I was able to inspect our new ally, his tattoos were beautifully crafted with runes of multiple languages including ancient Sylvan which was perfectly tattooed by Javik himself without a rune blemished or a single line out of place which was amazingly impressive. He does seem like an older elven man so knowing those languages makes sense, especially in that court. Anywho, we found the most recent victims it seemed as though the bodies were indeed turned to ash and bone and unidentifiable however whatever killed them was gigantic yet didn't severely disturb the forest with heat or by the size of the creature. We found a path that the possible elemental created by distorting plants with its movement.
Eventually we found a clearing with perfect aquamarine ponds of water dotting it, before the others I noticed smoke, darkness, and ash settling around us, then a 40ft tall bear made of smoke and fire appeared. Mittens made Javik invisible and I create a few illusory clones to confuse the creature (who we designated as Barry later on). Everyone fought marvelously, Thurghor used his nature-based fighting to hit the creatures harder and used his spore powers to hurt Barry, Fitzroy used a lot of magic that reminds me of some of my own, Mittens was just blasting it with magic, Shwy'Shway was being a legendary Grung warrior stabbing the smoke monster and seemingly poisoning it which I didn't know was possible and I was healing and inspiring the team while shooting Barry with a beautiful longbow I summoned in a similar way as the rapier (so I assume I have you to thank for such a boon, it was invaluable in the fight). Barry kept splitting as we hurt them, Javik did help a bit and he also got very large which was interesting to see.
As the creature divided the harm was shared equally amongst them, Mittens had the final blow using his magic. The creature dissipated then all the smoke coalesced into a central point and then became a humanoid form, it was certainly an elemental of some kind that Fitzroy recognised I think. Javik threw his giant axe at the being and dislodged an artifact, it was as old as the first fey court balls by the looks of it and according to Fitzroy it had old Draconic on it, Javik however took it before we could inspect further and Noctua appeared as one does to take the artifact which we were told was Court of Sorcery property. I feel it may suggest that the Court was meddling with this artifact and in doing so brought the beast out but I'm not wizardly so I'm not sure.
But it is clear they are hiding something about it.I talked to Henri who seemed to know more about this elemental person, he told me their name was Glastor, I shall try to find out more.
We were paid well and I offered to show Javik some of the sights and sounds in Daring Heights, which was especially vibrant after the Shieldmeet festivities, to promoteintercourse inter-court relations. He accepted my offer and things went well there. He complimented my ability in the hunt as I did him, his abilities are intriguing and they seemed similar to an individual I've met and mentioned to you called Damian Vasquez however it was more magical as I suspect his power comes from magic mixed with and his natural strength and endurance. He grew to a size that was much like a stone giant I met once which was frankly impressive. I think Noctua knows what is going on but is hard to read, partially by the design of their attire but I feel Javik was more following orders and doesn't know more as last night we both got deep in the drink but not too drunk so if he knew something he may have told me more yet he did not and I remember the whole night.
I hope this is of assistance and if your majesty wishes for a face-to-face meeting to discuss this further I shall return to the Court as soon as you require.
May your songs be ever bright and your days ever enjoyable.
Your humble song-bearer,
Yinmaris Iathrana
