Keros follows his usual morning workout routine in the practise yard of Fort Ettin when he notices Wendy the postmaster trudging over, a comically large mail bag swung effortlessly over her shoulder.
"Hi there, Keros. I have a letter here for you from K'ul Goran. Took me a moment to find you, but it's all good now. Here you are!" She hands him the letter with a smile and heads back out of the Fort.
The letter reads:
Keros!
This is Kassandra Farcleaver, of the Errant Guard. I know we havent known each other long, but I have a favour to ask: its a bit embarrassing but I seem to have misplaced my engagement ring, and for the life of me I can't find it anywhere! Even magic location doesnt seem to do the trick, I tried. The more I think about it, the more I believe it must have slipped off during all the excitement last week... I would go to retrace my steps but I have been given an important mission that can't wait, so I am asking: could you please pick a few investigation minded friends and head back to K'ul Goran to track down my ring? What do you say? Help a girl out?
