So Cloudtop has great vibes, especially without that boo ghost. At least the boo ghost can be booed back but I may have gone a bit far, I think I may have emotionally destroyed the poor guy but he killed an innocent and would have gone one to kill more.
It's just a shame what happened to Glaucus to turn him into that thing but at least Aella is alright. It's a shame we had to lie to her but I feel like her knowing what happened to her husband would have led to more grief and she left Kul Goran for a fresh start.

Letter from Yinmaris to Queen Queen Merla, the Sun-Blessed
Your Majesty,
Thank you for your most recent letter, it truly lifted my spirits when I was such at a low point and I swear to pay it forward by lifting the spirits of others. Most recently a group of adventurers including myself left Fort Ettin and travelling to an new Air Genasi village called Cloudtop, we were told that a particularly aggressive shrouded figure had been harrassing a villager every night for a number of week by a mysterious shrouded figure. We thought it was some kind of trickster and something non-nefarious until we entered the village after a short climb up a cliff. There we were greeted to the sight of a large crowd surrounding a house, this being the house of the lady that hired us, luckily the owner of the house, Aella Atmos, was unharmed. However, the same could not be said for her friend who had seemingly died of what could only be described as being frightened to death, he was standing outside the house to try and stop the harrasser apparently which is tragic.
After we got the crowd to disperse and stay inside their homes till we'd dealt with the issue, we decided to find out what was going on as Aella seemed to be the target of these nightly knocks. It turns out she and her fellow villagers had come to Cloudtop from Kul Goran after things got too bad politically for the genasi there. I will say if you ever go to Cloudtop it does have a spectacular view and the people there are really nice. Any way sorry for getting sidetracked, we found out Aella was a widow whose husband passed during the Avernus campaign, now according to Aella only she was targetted by this harrassing murderer.
After some logical thoughts we came to suspect that perhaps the harasser was some wraith or specter who was Aella's husband corrupted by weird hell stuff. It turns out regrettably we were correct, after I used one of the gift you gave me to change my appearance into other people. While Aella was safe inside I turned into her using illusion to project her voice. The creature that was formerly her husband stopped but the minions he had with him, a series of floating orbs, were attacking and the deception could not free him from his violent torment. He proceeded to attack my teammates so I helped stop the undead creature with the magic and words. It did not feel good that there was no other way but at least as the ghoul was slain I like to think he finally found peace. And not only did Glaucus, Aella's husband, find peace but I like to think that the village can breathe a sigh of relief and rest well knowing they are safe from a being able to frighten people to death. I also said no to taking money for the job as she needed it more than I considering what she had been through.
Again thank you for your advice and for responding to my letters, I know you must be busy I am in your debt for such kindness I hope to repay that kindness in whatever way I can.
