Excerpt from Yinmaris' notebook post-adventure:
No arrow points today, things didn't go so well and no fun times were had really. Except for some nice tea and potential new friends made.
I at least saved those kids, hopefully that is enough. That wizard scares me though, I don't know what tomorrow brings yet now instead of just wonder and hope I feel somewhere deep inside I feel dread for she has what we Fey hold most dear. I had no choice.
A letter sent from Yinmaris to the Queen of the Court of Harmony Queen Merla, the Sun-Blessed, it seems to occasionally have small areas of slight water damage as though tears dropped onto the page over time but were dried before too much damage was done using magics. It's clear that the writing gets more shaky as Yin wrote.

I hope the tidings for your Grace are greater than mine. A severe life or death incident occurred this day, I feel like it's best to explain this from the beginning. In the morning I was walking along the street when a strong breeze sent a poster flying into my face as though it was meant to come to me thorugh serendipity. I went to the temple of Selune where the job posting was, I joined a group of adventurers (Seraphina, Egg, Mendal, Bella, Aries) led by Seraphina who brought a quest to us to retreive a cursed book, called Alatar's Cobalt Codex. Alatar was some kind of Demon Wizard and the cursed book supposedly drives people mad. Seraphina and another member of the Temple of Selune called Aries led us to a location to the North Coast of Kantas (300 miles north of Daring Heights), which we travelled to via teleportation. We landed about 5 miles from the location as it was in the middle of nowhere. As we neared the coastline we observed a wizard's tower, some of our number saw someone with blue hair for a moment. We entered the tower and all seemed normal if not for very bad vibes from the clerics in our group who felt that it was desecrated but at the same time not quite.
I as well as Bella and Aries went down the stairs towards a basement, we were quickly followed by the rest of the group and we came across a flooded basement with an ominous sarcophagus with a symbol that I think is Alatar's. Seraphina used some powerful magics to stop any dark drowning magic trap from occurring. Mendal tried to identify the tomb with magic but as that happened this dark wizard came from the stairs as we were in the basement. She monologued as evil wizards do but then she used some seriously scary magic that would have easily killed us if she wished. I was badly hurt from her first attack, Bella nearly died by drowning and Egg took flight towards the wizard, attacking her and drawing her ire. Egg was just a kid and Aries, a high elf barely in her 40s, pursued to try and stop Egg from making the situation worse but was too late.
As soon as I got there I knew she was about to kill the kids so I did the only thing I could, she was far too powerful for me to stop without using words, and she told me she would let us leave if I gave her the thing that I as a Fey hold most sacred, My Name. It was the only way, she could tell if I was lying so I told her my name. She wrote my name into the cursed book. She was then attacked by Bella, who was enraged by her near death experience, I was then told to beg the wizard to spare our lives or she would continue fighting us and thus killing all of us, as I did she stroked my face.
I regret to inform you that this evening while trying to find the good out of today's darkness I noticed something for but a moment, I had the Mark of Alatar on my cheek where I was touched.
I wish I had glad tidings, for that I am sorry.
