The rooms Zopheros is renting at the Three-Headed Dragon are like his lessons: simple, practical. Not for a lack of imagination, but for the love of his craft. The old artificer doesn't have anything he doesn't need, just like he never tells more or less than is strictly required to teach Malak'yth how to use this tool or make that spring. So it comes as a surprise when his instructor starts a new lesson with an evaluating stare and a question.
"What do a hunter and an inventor have in common?"
Malak’yth raises an eyebrow at the unexpected bit of philosophy with his tinkering, but obliges Zopheros with an answer.
"The thrill of discovery!" The drow grins. ""An inventor experiences it when happening upon a new concept, the hunter when they have discovered their prey."
Zopheros considers it for a moment.
"Close enough," he shrugs and limps over to the coat hanger. WIthout a word, the satyr throws Malak'yth's cloak to him. Seeing the drow's questioning expression, Zopheros elaborates. "You've mastered the basics. What you need now is a target, a prey to stalk. Enough new concepts for now. Time for a hunt."
