Carrot, the ratfolk child has barely left Cecil's side since she, Cecil, and Tugark returned yesterday from scouting out the Xvarts. As it turns out, arming and taking a child on an adventure isn't a good idea. How was Tugark to know?
Pertinent bits first:
Of the strange experiments, we came across Dire Xvolves, a Xvape with an unconscious telepathic attack, and Headless Xvats, all hanging from the ceiling in a large room.
These seem to be the failed experiments, so I can only dread what the successful Xvartified beasts are.
The complex was cleared out of most everything important, it homed up to maybe 1000 Xvart, who were no longer there.
In the tome there was also mentions of seeking out the Xvarts demigod and using Daring's portal to get there.
Maybe if they'd just bothered to ask first we might have avoided this impending mess?

- We returned with a tome recording the xvast history of the Xvarts and their deaths at the hands of many demons, among others. The tome has been delivered to Nowhere, who i hope will be able to prise out something worthwhile.
- The Xvarts where nowhere to be found, only the remains of a small occupying force were left, killed by some strange experiments that were left behind.
- Also of note, left to die or fend for themselves where some humanoids from Daring Heights quarry, taken weeks or even months ago.
