Word can spread quickly in the adventuring community when it needs to. Through word-of-mouth, Sendings and Jenna just yelling into the Great Hall of Fort Ettin, the message gets out:
"Port Ffirst need an investigation team. A ship just drifted into the harbour with no crew, but a lot of statues of sailors."
