It's the day the Orcs and Xvarts arrive. All being well, you've made preparations and gathered yourselves to turn back the Teal Tide bearing down on Daring Heights.
While most people will be involved in the main fight at the fort, some of you will need to be more mobile. War is unpredictable and the enemy never follows your battle plan.
Long story short: Some of you need to defend Daring Heights itself, respond to threats as needed, and keep an eye on the portal. People have been talking about how that might be the focus of the Xvarts, so leaving it unattended is probably a Bad Plan.
EDIT: Yes I renamed it because I am a fickle being. Anyone who put themselves down for Orcs Make Waaagh on the availability table, decide which part of the battle you want to be on. You will be useful wherever you go.

I’ll either be hiding in a building in Daring or hiding at the back of the army on the field.
Who knows; maybe I'll emerge from my cellar and panic-shoot my crossbow at some invaders.

Nice. Looks like we have our last line of defence! Dave I'm assuming you are in this. We will need a giant ape!

'I'm no giant ape (yet) but the enemy will have to watch out for a saber tooth tiger. Can't sit behind the walls of the fort'. Just to check, andycd this is a mixed level game right?

I wouldn't recommend standing in front, but yes, I think a Druid could find themselves useful in this game, no matter the level!

That's 6 players, for reference. The main battle at the fort currently has 2 players (Josh and Dave you've signed up for both, but I think you were indicating this one?). So FYI there may be a little scope for shifting, but I'm sure it will be fine, there's plenty of people still to put their hand up.

andycd Yes, then I saw I'd need to use Val's charisma in battle for Matt's game, which isn't the best idea haha - think I'm better suited to smaller scale battles.

I'm happy to see who is defending the frontlines and if there aren't many people there then I can move games. I'll go where needed!

Not wanting to overload this game further, but for character reasons I think Taffeta would want to stay in town – she needs to be able to protect her family of course, and especially because 1 May is her elder daughter's birthday. (I gave picked birthdays for the children when I was doing Taffeta's back-story, just so I could keep track of their ages. Didn't expect it to turn into a plot point, but apparently the orcs are invading on Greengrass day, so it's a plot point whether I like it or not!) But I'm open to joining the other game if anyone can come up with an in-game reason to have her end up in the big battle despite those factors!
