Dear Adventurers,
A recent expedition beneath the Barrington mansion has revealed a sizeable brood of Kythons. My studies into their living weaponry are complete for now, and a sample has become available for sale. I do not believe that the item in question is capable of proliferation or, indeed, prolonged life of its own once attached, but responsible buyers are nevertheless preferred. Rigorous students of the flesh and/or brave warriors: make haste to Calla Prim, assistant cartographer at Daring Academy, for quick sale of this rare and... intimate... item.
All reasonable offers considered. Glass jar and preserving fluid included.
Calla Prim.

[TW: no, seriously, this thing is nasty]
Kython Mouth Launcher: This weapon, which attaches to the back of the kython’s mouth, looks like a lamprey. The kython can make a 20/30ft. ranged Bite attack against a creature which deals 1d4+Strength Modifier damage instead of its normal damage. The creature is grappled (DC14 escape) and the kython can use a bonus action to pull the creature 10ft. toward it using an opposed Strength (Athletics) check. Bite attacks against a creature grappled in this way are made with advantage, but the kython cannot bite other targets. Non-kythons cannot speak whilst this is implanted and do not gain a melee bite attack if they did not already have one, but can still fire the initial shot and grapple with it.
A non-kython can attach a Living Weapon as an action, but the weapon dies and become useless end of the Kantas Session they were attached. If not used they can be stored seemingly indefinitely. Living weapons can be removed by the wielder early as an action which deals 1d4 damage to the wielder.
