barry had been doing good at training and been an eager helper since his encounter with poppy , phil and the nights of the trough ,
so as albede went shopping she'd get him to carry small things or roll things over to her ,
though he wasnt great at abstract ideas when exploring the area of a shop aimed at petowners she'd tried to get him to carry over 'the things he liked'
but didnt really move till a specific item was pointed out.
so just like that they collected a few things and sat Barry down infront of a small mirror and places accessories on him one bye one .
albede had recently been getting Barry to try to make a noise in response to questions ,
a croack for yes , 2 for no ...or was it the other way around ?
barry never seemed to make a noise in response to things ,
or blink in response to things , or move much in response to things ,
in truth without casting speak withanimals she found it hard to get complex ideas from barry ,
he mostly seemed content during the day and when they would speak he was happy with her. he still enjoyed tagging a long on adventures or hearing about them when he couldnt.
but now a pile of acessories shrouding him barry's movements , a slow blink and a raised webbed foot didnt mean much to her ;
barry made no noises about what he did and did not like ...eventually she cast speak with animal since using this as a training opportunity was starting to make a scene .
it seems barry just wanted a matching head thing and neck thing to albede since he didnt really know what else to get , he'd tried on most things but didnt know what to choose.
albede picked out a headpiece that matched barry's colours and looked a little like her circlet , and a small ascot type thing in a bright green , and a sunflower themed terarium bed barry had jumped towards.
