Aurelia has heard about the Xvarts plan to gain control of the portal at Daring Heights. Aurelia wants a crack team of heroes to go back to the xvarts cave lair and see if they can infiltrate their base of operations and find any clues as to what they are planning on doing with the portal and why!

Tugark is going to attempt this solo tonight it seems.
I have some pretty sweet gear than I'm taking with me, though, so if I don't make it back you'll have to come looking for me and/or my gear. There's also a load of stuff I left in the Tomb of Horrors outside of Kundar...

Leocanto, hendopolis seems to have pulled out for whatever reason. It would have been a decent buddy cop adventure, me with my axe, him with his healing... Alas, it isn't supposed to be. Instead I shall go sneaking around the woods with my new cloak of elvenkind and try not to get myself killed!

You might notice that Tugark no longer has earlobes, and has got a little uglier recently, and is shying away from being center of attention - this was the cost of this particular bargain with Nowhere for the Cloak of Elvenkind.

Well, Granny won't make a bargain unless she comes out on top, and Nowhere seems to like having a poetic cause and effect with his bargains (stealthy cloak = not wanting to be seen in public more). Jonathan P is another story though... |
