OBSERVATIONS & EXCERPTS from the JOURNAL of SECOND ASSISTANT ARCHIVIST ORIANNA ÈIRIGH of ASHKHA
Today, Lucky, Derthaad, Lucia (a young physician), Varga (half-orc chieftain, I believe), and myself helped the Temples of Bahamut and Tiamat reach their respective draconic gods.
The ritual was quite fascinating — I have notes on it below — but it could have gone awry if Steppenwolf had succeeded in corrupting it. Thank the Cosmos — and you, Grougaloragran — that did not happen.
There were so many undead. Even still, having been to the seat of their power, having seen the hoards they command, what came to face us was not even a fraction of them.
This fight is not yet over.
But how much can I do to help stop Desathrax?
I feel there will come a time soon when I will not be there, that others will have to try to stop Them in my place.
O Great Cosmos, when that time comes, let those who continue on be enfolded by your radiance and protected by your vastness from this evil…
