Well I flittin’certainly learned something today. I’m much better at eating baked goods than I am at making them!
When Lolli asked me to take part as contestant the charity baking competition at Port First I was so flittin’excited-I even made up my own buggin recipe, Beets’ Beetle Berry Cakes.
Unfortunately coming up with a recipe seems to be a lot buggin’easier than actually making it. Least mine weren't bunny-butt shaped cupcakes-Bug those were awkward to eat in front of Lolli!
Maybe it was the pressure of being pit again the skills of my friends, or the smack talking I’d shared with fellow thicc boi-Ivan, who still seemed buggin’sore over his lost at Castle Victory a few months back. But my Beetle Berry cakes ended up looking more like a ‘Beetle-Bogar’ cake-and there’s no buggin’way I’m letting him anywhere near my mouth again!
Lucky won the day overall with his beautiful little dragon cupcakes, and though I ended up with pie on my face-quite literally-I seemed to win the heart of the lovely laughing cow-lady Aretred who even invited me to perform at her flittin’temple! I mean what a buggin’honour!
Best of all though, was that Lolli had a really fun day, and as she took the stage to accept her award I performed a little number I’d arranged for her especially for the occasion.
