"To the Council of Daring Heights,
it is with deep regret and worry that I have to inform you today that the K'ul Goranian Senate Leader Tasos Earthhardle has passed away. A state funeral will be held within the fortnight. I do not need to remind you that the political situation in K'ul Goran has become brittle. Reformers and conservatives, known locally as Purists and Optimates, are already accusing each other of taking advantage of the situation, as an election for a new Senate Leader will need to take place. Worse still, persistent rumours of assassination of Leader Earthhardle continue to circulate. I pray that the situation calms down, the country needs it.
